Project Partnership + Continued Employment

Purdue OWL

The Purdue Online Writing Lab is a web based site that hosts extensive educational resources that has 10 of thousands of users daily from around the globe. Our goal was to make the content and navigation more intuitively organized that catered to the new students and teachers that engage with this resource for the first time.

in partnership with Cerner

Patient Portals

We created a mobile based healthcare patient portal that was designed through the lens of first time parents, investigating their struggles and concerns around their child’s health.

Briefed In-Class Projects

Japanese-Psychedelic Design Museum

We designed an immersive museum exhibit that took visitors through the emotions and sensations of a simulated trip all while having a deeper narrative of trauma, escapism, and self-reflection that came with this design movement. We wanted to engage in imaginative opportunities that trauma presents.

Digital Civics @ Purdue

We addressed frustrations the citizens of West Lafayette have with Purdue’s on-campus parking, especially with transparency and accessibility. We wanted to create a space that facilitates community awareness of issues and empowers students to protect each other from the predatory parking practices.

Hey, I’m Natasha.

I always knew that I wanted to do something meaningful that had an actual impact on how people live their lives. When I was growing up, I was not the most book smart kid. Rarely did concepts in school come easy to me, well anything but art. Through art I gained a confidence in being able to create these drawings or paintings that were so carefully put together. I loved that the time and care I put into them could be seen. Through this outlet, I had a point in my life where I was able to apply that same careful consideration skills to the other academic side of my life. That creative medium was translated into reading, writing and if you can believe it, math. I developed a drive that got me ahead in those instances from where I started in the back. Having that drive and emphasis of care is something that I still carry with me, and it has made me a much better UX designer for it.

I was raised on competitive board and card games. Through the games of chess with my dad and Clue with my family, I had developed that ability to view the whole picture and strategize what to do next. My dad had always emphasized the importance of not only strategizing and playing the game, but that you are playing the person. This had instilled an instinct in me to view everything from the other’s perspective, trying to learn how they think and why they do what they do.

I’d love to work with you.
